FUN RUN
The SHAPE Fun Run takes place on the last Tuesday of each month and free raffle prizes are given out. Run the distance of approx. 5.7km and get into shape. Next run takes place on Tuesday, 29 July. The signup begins at 1145 hours and the run begins at 1215 hours. Please contact reception on ext 5325 for more information.
2008 SACEUR SPORTS
The SACEUR season will resume with Orienteering on Thursday, 4 Sep. Please see the sports rep for your country for more information about participation.
4TH OF JULY FUN EVENTS
On Friday, 4th of July the SHAPE Gym with cooperation from MWR activities will hold special all day fun festivities for the SHAPE/Chievres community. The events and times are listed below:
•1-Pitch softball will begin at 0900 hours at fields 8 and 9. Request that teams pre-register by calling ext 3993. Any individuals who wish to play can also call to be placed on a team.
•Home Run Derby and Base Path Relay Race will also be run at the fields.(TBA)
•Individuals can register for the traditional Fourth of July Fun Run (5km) at 1145 hours at the Main Gym. Race starts at 1215 hours.
